Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the daily construction, administrative, and technical management of mechanical construction projects. The role is pivotal in ensuring energy savings for public, institutional, government, and commercial customers. You will support the Senior Project Manager in scheduling, progress tracking, quality management reporting, and internal communications, while serving as the primary contact for customers.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee daily construction, administrative, and technical management of mechanical construction projects.

+ Ensure energy savings for public, institutional, government, and commercial customers.

+ Support the Senior Project Manager with project scheduling, progress tracking, quality management reporting, and internal communications.

+ Serve as the primary contact for customers, managing customer service, relationships, and contractual obligations.

+ Assist in managing vendors and subcontractors, ensuring quality control and timely, on-budget project delivery.

+ Maintain and update project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and track outstanding items.

+ Prepare a detailed two-week look-ahead schedule for customer coordination and planning.

+ Help with scheduling and managing special inspections and Authority Having Jurisdiction inspections.

+ Ensure adherence to safety standards, practices, and codes.

+ Travel as required to support project needs.

+ Perform other duties as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ 3-7 years of construction management experience, specifically in MEP and Solar PV projects.

+ OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety Certification.

+ Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.

+ Strong computer literacy and proficiency with project management tools.

+ Knowledge of solar and control systems, including infrastructure and controls integration.

+

Experience with energy management systems and building automation controls.

+ Familiarity with lighting systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

+ Procore knowledge for project documentation and workflow management.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in renewable energy projects.

+ Understanding of building automation and controls.

Work Environment

The position is on-site for a two-year project. The role requires adherence to company, industry, customer, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Nassau, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr.
