Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer (New York, NY)

• Design and deliver electrical systems for data centers and commercial building projects, including power systems, lighting, and fire alarms.
• Perform electrical load calculations and circuiting of equipment.
• Perform electrical load capacity, fault, and system analysis for power systems in the build environment.
• Perform photometric calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
• Perform grounding and lighting protection analysis.
• Perform engineering analysis and calculations.
• Produce design drawings.
• Author technical specifications, design reports, site reports, and due diligence reports.
• Handle electrical engineering tasks on commercial property, aviation, healthcare, science and industry, datacenters, pharmaceuticals, and energy projects.
• Support construction administration by handling design and implementation, reviewing submittals, and reviewing contractor documentation, including test reports, commissioning schedules, shop drawings, and product data.
• Answer requests for information.
• Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Work within a team structure, coordinate with multiple teams, and work with lead engineers and project managers to deliver quality work within commercial metrics.
• Engage with clients.
• Handle project fee, expenditure, and invoicing.
• Forecast project spend and resources.
• Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
• Salary Range is $122,500 to $148,450 per year.
