Supplier Quality Engineer

Work as a supplier quality engineer to perform below listed activities:

PSW activities support for documentation, evidences and system routing for RfD, APQP Level 1/2/3 PSW execution

Change management SQE activities co-ordination and execution

Review of supplier strategy changes, e.g. IFU paper thickness changes, symbol placement changes, CofC strategy, paper vs. electronic IFU, etc.

Key success factors:

SICR count optimization by applying data monitoring and analyzing tools.

QN monitoring and follow-up with internal team as well as supplier for timely closure.

Successfully CR closure and timely PSW Sign Off.

Handling suppliers independently by representing SPOC for SQE-BP.

Primary activities:

Drawing review & study for change note

Defining the required PSW level as per the change & product requirements.

Define the required list of the documents.

Initiate the PSW Section 5 sign off with the supplier.

Take required documents from the supplier, document verification & Section 6 Sign off.

Inward Quality Check / FAI at Philips (Philips Support Required). After completion of this Section 7 Sign Off.

Routing the documents in Wind Chill and approval from required stakeholders.

Languages used for IFU considered as English & Dutch (Any 2 languages)

Supplier follow-ups for all the activity.

Additional

Activities:

Support & coordination for FAI (First Article Inspection) activities with supplier & Philips inspectors

Support NCR (Non-conforming report) resolution as needed

Component enrichment in SAP in coordination with Philips stakeholders.

Review of supplier strategy changes, e.g. IFU paper thickness changes, symbol placement changes, CofC strategy, paper vs. electronic IFU, etc.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Electrical or Mechanical.

The expected salary range for this position is between $50,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
