A company is looking for a Chemical Procurement Specialist to lead supplier engagement and manage procurement processes for specialty chemicals and raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of Request for Quotes (RFQs) ensuring timely delivery of quality quotes Assess supplier landscape and engage with new suppliers to secure competitive quotes Facilitate communication between suppliers and buyers regarding product specifications and terms
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the chemical industry Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or natural science 5+ years of experience in sourcing, technical sales, or business development Demonstrated ability to conduct supply market assessments Extensive knowledge of chemicals and relevant technical expertise in reviewing RFQs
