Immediate Hiring for NICET III Senior Inspector in New York, NY Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NICET III Senior Inspector to join our Construction Inspection/Construction Management team. This role is responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across design, installation, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards
- Support installation, inspection, and testing of infrastructure systems
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and technical requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, permits, and testing logs
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions or improvements
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff
- Stay current with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a related field
- Experience with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYSTA, NYCDDC, MTA, or NCDPW projects is preferred.
