Senior System Analyst; Energy Analyst

Under general supervision, develops, implements, analyses, maintains, monitors and modifies existing and proposed systems, subsystems and parallel systems, to effectuate optimization of Corporate operations. Reviews systems and prepares recommendations to facilitate managerial decision making in accordance with Corporate objectives.

• 1. Conducts studies, surveys and analyses on existing operational systems and makes recommendations on the need for modification to obtain increased efficiency and improved quality with cost reduction.
• 2. Discusses recommended plans, designs, proposals and systems. Obtains approval and implements said systems and procedures as a result of project activities.
• 3. Prepares, develops and designs procedures and plans for implementation of new and parallel systems and subsystems.
• 4. Obtains information pertinent to new operational systems and projects. Prepares reports and recommendations regarding findings.
• 5. Monitors systems and develops standards of performance, quality of controls and progress of assigned projects.
• 6. Maintains, modifies and improves the acquired systems design and, on an ongoing basis, develops new systems in accordance with Corporate objectives.
• 7. Analyzes and develops alternative means of deriving input data and recommends the most feasible and economical method.
• 8. Develop flow charts or diagrams in outline and detail for auditing or analyses.
• 9. Coordinates and directs the work flow and progress of subordinate personnel in relation to project activities.

• 1. A Baccalaureate Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university;
• 2. Two years of experience in business, government, hospital, educational or a nonprofit organization in analysis, development and implementation of systems and subsystems, familiarity with EDP applications and data processing programs;
• 3. A Masters Degree in Management, Business Administration or approved related fields from an accredited college or university may be equated to a maximum of one year of related experience;
• 4. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Energy Management, Construction Project Management or a related field.

• At least two (2) years of experience in analyzing data preferably in building technologies, energy efficiency technologies, HVAC Equipment and control systems.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Charts, Power Point, Power View and Power Map.
• Familiarity of Microsoft Access, relational databases, query design and SQ. Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Microsoft Visio and Power Point
• Thermal Imaging Camera

• Analyzing and interpreting large and complex data sets
• Auditing commercial and institutional energy and utility bills
• Commercial and industrial utility billing structures
• Energy market dynamics and pricing mechanisms
• Emerging trends and technologies in energy efficiency
• Use of mathematical and statistical software applications for energy analysis.
• Aptitude in energy conversion calculations including weather normalization.
• Ability to analyze and present complex data sets using Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Knowledge of database management on Microsoft
• Familiarity with issues pertaining to energy efficiency in existing buildings.
• Background in engineering or environmental studies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines simultaneously
