Engineering Technician

Tasks and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Assist industrial and mechanical engineers
• Assembly of equipment, document process and quality control
• Review current engineering program activities to make recommendations for changes/improvement opportunities
• Perform tests to assure quality control, performance and repeatability of results, and to help solve technical issues
• Maintain and support organization of inventory of production materials, tools, and accessories.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned; including but not limited to Pre-sales Support and Customer Support

In addition to performance of activities above, performance will also be evaluated on (but not limited to):

• Organizational and planning skills
• Excitement about testing, measuring, documenting performance of equipment
• Ability to, and curiosity about, learning new skills by building with your hands and documenting potential improvements to the workflow
• Ability to work with others in a multi-disciplinary team
• A hands‑on approach, comfortable prototyping and working in a workshop including CNC equipment, 3d printers and hand tools
• Ability to communicate your ideas to the team
• Positive contributions to the Pensa community
• Enthusiasm to deliver the next great product experience to the world
