This learnership is designed to equip you with the practical skills, workplace exposure, and certification required to qualify as a boilermaker artisan.

- department: human resources – training and development
this structured learnership leads to a boilermaker trade test certificate
, conducted under the auspices of the mining qualification authority (mqa).
- receive structured on-the-job training in a real industrial environment
- develop a solid understanding of fabrication, maintenance, and repair practices
- structural steel fabrication and installation
- maintenance and repair of plant equipment
- reading and interpreting engineering drawings
learn to work safely and efficiently in a production-driven mining and refinery environment
build a strong foundation for long-term career growth in the engineering sector
minimum qualifications and requirements:to be considered, you must have:
- a completed n2 or ncv level 4 certificate in boilermaking
- n2 subjects must include mathematics, engineering science, structural steel drawing, plater trade theory
- a basic understanding of boilermaking trade principles
- medical fitness to work at both bmr and pmr plants
