what you will gain:

as an engineering learner – fitting, you will:

• receive structured workplace training in a mining and refinery environment
• develop a solid understanding of mechanical fitting and machining principles
• first-line maintenance of mechanical equipment
• assembly, disassembly, and alignment of mechanical components
• use of measuring tools and interpretation of engineering drawings

minimum qualifications and requirements:

to be considered, you must have:

• a completed n2 or ncv level 4 certificate in mechanical engineering.
• n2 subjects must include mathematics, engineering science, fitter trade theory, engineering drawing
• a basic understanding of fitting/mechanical trade principles
• medical fitness to work at both bmr and pmr plants
