An established, high-revenue design-build contractor with a decades-long reputation for excellence is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead site development and civil infrastructure scopes across complex commercial and high-end projects.
This organization operates with a fully integrated design-build model, delivering projects with precision, efficiency, and long-term stability. With a strong backlog of work across Long Island and the greater NY Metro area, this is an opportunity to join a financially secure contractor where civil execution is central to project success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead civil/site-work scopes including earthwork, grading, drainage, and underground utilities
- Manage support of excavation, site stabilisation, and structural concrete elements
- Oversee subcontractors, field operations, and site coordination
- Drive budgets, schedules, cost control, and risk management
- Review and interpret civil drawings and technical documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, design teams, and permitting authorities
- Ensure compliance with NY state and local regulations
- 7+ years of civil construction or site development experience
- Strong background in utilities, stormwater, grading, and site infrastructure
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and field teams
- Knowledge of Long Island and NY Metro permitting processes
- Strong commercial and financial management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- P.E. license preferred, but not required
- Financially strong contractor with long-term regional presence
- Integrated design-build environment offering greater project control
- Consistent pipeline of high-profile projects
