Join our Ledger and Recon Platform team, a critical component of Airwallex’s mission to provide seamless financial management solutions. As an Engineering Manager in this dynamic team, you will build and scale key financial products and serve as a bridge between engineering domains and the finance division.

• Lead and mentor a high‑performance team of skilled engineers.
• Plan, implement and oversee engineering projects with high quality and timely delivery.
• Act as a liaison between engineering teams and the finance division, ensuring clear communication of accounting requirements.
• Provide strategic direction and support in software development practices and system architecture, with an emphasis on financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to optimize financial product efficiency, security and scalability using data‑driven approaches.
• Ensure that all development procedures comply with industry standards for data security and regulatory requirements.

• Experienced leader with a proven track record of managing engineering teams in a dynamic environment.
• Technical proficiency with strong background in backend software engineering and proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Accounting insight with understanding of accrual‑based accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
