Senior Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex construction projects. This is a high-impact position offering exposure to major projects, close collaboration with senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to mentor and influence best-in-class estimating practices.

You will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and detailed electrical cost estimates, supporting bids from concept through award, and providing strategic input that drives project success.

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical systems, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to fully understand project scope
• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure complete and accurate estimates
• Perform market research to assess current pricing trends, material availability, and supply chain risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Present estimates, assumptions, and value-engineering options to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain and continuously update cost databases and estimating tools
• Identify project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate cost and schedule impacts
• Support the full bid and proposal process, ensuring deadlines and client requirements are met
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency with estimating tools such as Trimble, Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in fast-paced environments
