This position supports facility expansion and production system upgrades. Responsibilities span planning, engineering coordination, and providing technical support through installation and commissioning phases.
Key Qualifications- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Hands-on experience with capital projects in industrial or manufacturing settings, covering early planning through construction and startup
- Familiarity with installation, commissioning, and operational startup of mechanical and process systems
- Ability to evaluate layouts, select and size equipment, and develop system concepts for mechanical and process equipment such as mixers, pressure vessels, reactors, piping, and utilities
- Practical understanding of construction practices with on-site support capabilities
- Basic project management skills, including defining project scope, estimating costs, developing schedules, and tracking technical issues
- Proficient in interpreting multi-discipline engineering drawings, including mechanical, electrical, structural, and instrumentation
- Define project scope, develop layouts, prepare cost estimates, and draft preliminary schedules
- Collaborate with engineering partners across mechanical, electrical, structural, and instrumentation disciplines
- Review technical drawings, equipment lists, and deliverables for accuracy and compliance
- Assist on-site with installation, construction, and commissioning tasks
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
- Help troubleshoot field issues as they arise
- Maintain adherence to site safety and operational standards
