Overview
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join one of our clients. This role will support various ongoing projects that require hardware for in-lab data collection, including the construction, installation, and maintenance of EMG devices. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in hardware construction, installation, testing, and providing in-lab support. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the success of our client's projects.
Responsibilities- CAD and hardware design
- Electronics, sensors, and data sampling
- Light data analysis / Python coding skills
- Independent problem solving, taking initiative
- Bachelor s or master s degree in mechatronics engineering
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Mechatronics-related fields
- Strong knowledge of hardware construction, installation, data collection, data analysis, debugging, and testing
- Experience with scripting languages, with a preference for Python
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and foster effective cooperation
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Independent problem solving, taking initiative
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and programming languages (C, C++ preferred)
- Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar
- Familiarity with Jenkins and Python
