WHAT WE'RE DOING This position will combine program execution with new business capture PM responsibilities across a variety of programs in the Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) TPY-4 and TPS-77 / FPS-117 / MRR Product Line. THE WORK Activities will include but not be limited to managing proposal/capture efforts, managing program execution, support of follow on new business, investment and program meetings, weekly customer and internal meetings, monthly program reviews, risk/opportunity management, and earned value management.

Duties will include daily interaction/coordination with our internal team. Some international travel may be required. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.

Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.

Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited University.

• Must have Earned Value Management (EVM) and Risk Management experience

• International travel may be required

• Required to be onsite greater than 2 days during the week

• Candidate must be able to obtain a interim DoD Secret clearance
Desired

Skills:

• Management of defense programs is preferred but not required

• Relevant direct experience working with international customers

• Program and Product Leadership of cross-functional team with scope > $50M, with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance

• Experience with Program and Capture Management (proposal prep, INAR, EPP, and/or negotiations)
• Strong problem solving skills, with experience in root cause/corrective action

• Experience in risk identification and management

• Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction

Strong communication skills (verbal, written) and successful experience with executive level presentations

• Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management
Security Clearance Statement:
