Project Manager – Battery Energy Storage (Utility-Scale)

Arco Talent Group has been retained by an integrated energy and digital infrastructure platform developing a multi‑GW power generation and storage portfolio to serve hyperscale demand. The platform is currently executing a flagship 2+ GW behind‑the‑meter energy ecosystem integrating large‑scale generation, battery storage, cooling systems, grid infrastructure, and digital load. This flagship project will establish the execution model for future developments in the portfolio.
This role sits at the center of the storage program, owning the BESS package from detailed engineering through commissioning and performance validation, with direct exposure to founders and senior technical leadership.
What You’ll Do- Lead the full BESS package from engineering through commissioning
- Manage interfaces with battery OEMs, integrators, and controls teams
- Coordinate installation, integration, and energization planning
- Drive commissioning readiness, testing protocols, and safety compliance
- Align schedule and technical execution with generation, grid, and controls work streams
- Oversee performance validation, warranty compliance, and risk mitigation
- 7–12+ years in utility‑scale power, energy infrastructure, or EPC execution
- Familiarity with leading battery platforms
- Strong understanding of commissioning, integration, and energization of storage assets
- Experience coordinating across engineering, construction, and controls stakeholders
- Strong technical judgment and structured decision‑making
- Clear communicator across engineering and executive audiences
- High accountability and ownership mindset
- Comfortable operating within a lean, fast‑moving organization
- Willingness to spend extended periods on site during critical milestones
- Multi‑GW flagship development with long‑term portfolio visibility
- Direct exposure to founders and senior leadership
- Ownership of a critical infrastructure package
