Position: TWO Network Engineers (Cisco CCNP, Windows Server Support, Network Security, VMware)

Locations:
Either Amityville, NY or Somerset, NJ or Decatur, IL or Lake Forest, IL (Local candidates only – based in any of these four locations)

Duration:
Full-Time Permanent positions (no contracts, no corp to corp, no remote)

DESCRIPTION:

For our prestigious client with global presence, we have an immediate need for TWO Network Engineers.

Selected candidates will be Responsible for support and implementation of local IT network infrastructure. They will work with local field support and departments as first point of contact for support issues and design requests. They will aslo work with IT Network Services on design and support of facilities. May assist in server support.

Qualifications:

Required skills:

-5+ to 7 years of computer networking experience

-Associates Degree required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred

-Cisco CCNP or equivalent required

-Network engineering, implementation, and management

-Microsoft Windows Server support

-Experience working in an FDA or other regulated industry

-Operational Technology / manufacturing systems support

-Critical thinking, planning, and problem solving

-Customer service and management

-Self-motivation

-Strong attention to detail

-Ability to handle intermittent light physical construction of IT systems

-Availability to provide support including nights and weekends

Preferred skills and experience:

-Network management and monitoring systems

-Cabling system design and construction

-Network security

-VoIP phone systems

-VMware ESXi 6+, vCenter

-Microsoft Windows and Active Directory
