Location: New York

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our client’s offshore team. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices in support of offshore wind operations. This is a 6-month contract position on a 3:3 rotation schedule. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

As an HSE Advi
sor for our offshore wind projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices on site. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing safety procedures to protect personnel and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HSE advice and support to project teams on offshore wind farms
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits
  • Develop and implement safety plans and emergency response procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions
  • Deliver HSE training to staff and contractors
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective HSE management
  • Maintain and report HSE data to senior management
Job Requirements
  • Experience in HSE advisory roles, preferably in offshore wind or other marine environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement safety plans and procedures
  • Experience in risk assessment and accident investigations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Offshore Medical and Survival training is a plus
  • Must be a U.S. National or hold a valid B1-OCS visa
