We’re looking for an ICC certified Bolting Inspector to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, and compliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution.
What You’ll DoTechnical & Field Inspection
- Perform structural bolting inspections in compliance with ICC, AISC, DOT, and project-specific standards
- Observe and verify bolt installations and torque-testing operations
- Monitor compliance with safety and quality requirements on-site
- Identify and document deficiencies and corrective actions
- Submit daily inspection reports within 24 hours
- Maintain 90%+ completion of all assigned safety training
- Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents
- Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours — with minimal revisions
- Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment
- Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools
- Review and verify technical documents (e.g.,
WPS/PQR
, lab results, etc.) - Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists
- Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements
Must Haves
- ICC Structural Steel & Bolting Certification (Active)
- 1–10 years of field experience in structural inspection
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to project sites
- AWS CWI or NDT Level I/II certifications (MT/UT)
- Experience with public infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with structural steel construction practices
- Direct collaboration with AEIS Metallurgy & NDT Labs
- Access to internal certification programs
- Work alongside PEs, senior inspectors, and technical experts

Salary Range: $34-38/hour
This range is based on national market data and may vary widely by experience and location.
