, and reliable means of transportation. As part of this strategic growth, we are currently looking for several railway engineers to join our growing Team! If you are a specialist or a generalist, expert or junior - we are looking for various types of skilled new team members. We have several projects all over the country; your mission could be in cities such as New York, Pittsburgh, LA, San Francisco, Jacksonville, Boston, or Chicago!
- Successfully completed a bachelor or master’s in engineering, or computer science
- Work experience in the railway/transportation field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
Knowledge in any of the following areas:
Domains:
- Railway Telecom & IoT Devices: Passenger information system (PIS), Automatic Passenger Counting, Passenger Announcements Systems (PAS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Wifi, TETRA, GSM-R, 3G, 4G & 5G
- Infrastructure and Construction: Track Design and Alignment, Stations, ADA Compliance, Escalators & Elevators, Bridges, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Soil, Steel, Concrete Inspections, Project & Construction Management (PM/CM)
- Rolling Stock: Train Control Management System (TCMS), Doors, Brakes, HVAC, Auxiliary Power, On-board Traction-Power
- Electrification: 3rd Rail Systems, DC Substations, AC/DC Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) design and installation
- Systems, requirements and/or control engineering
- Civil and construction (ex. Civil/LV inspections, CM/PM, field, design)
- Field Installation, testing and commissioning
- Verification and Validation
- Software, Hardware, and System Design of train control, electrification and communication systems
- Predictive Maintenance Solutions
- Technical Writing and Training
- Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) – FRA Standards, IEEE, MIL STD, CENELEC
- Manufacturing Process and Industrial Engineering (Process improvement, Six Sigma, SAP, work plans, DFM, DFA)
