Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a team of water professionals based in NYC.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performing team culture.
- Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Promote health, safety, and wellbeing across the team.
- Project Delivery
- Oversee and contribute to the delivery of water and wastewater projects.
- Ensure technical quality, compliance, and innovation in project execution.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations.
- Client Engagement & Support
- Build strong relationships with local clients and stakeholders.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts in NYC.
- Operational Support
- Assist in resource planning and utilization for the NYC team.
- Participate in hiring efforts and help identify talent needs within the team.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and standards (QA/QC, timesheets, training).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project delivery.
- PE license in NY (or ability to obtain).
- Proven experience managing small to mid‑sized teams or mentoring junior staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
- Familiarity with NYC water infrastructure and local client needs is a plus.

SalaryExpected salary: $175,000 – $223,000. Individual pay is determined based on location, education, experience and unique skills.
