• Lead and support civil and water resource engineering design for stormwater, drainage, sewer, and utility systems.
• Conduct hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modeling for stormwater, sewer networks, and flood‑risk mitigation.
• Prepare high‑quality design documents, including plans, profiles, grading, utilities, and construction details.
• Develop and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations.
• Ensure compliance with NYC DEP regulations and coordinate with agency partners.
• Serve as a technical lead, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage multiple projects, deliverables, schedules, and client expectations.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams.
• Uphold rigorous QA/QC standards across all project phases.

• Strong experience in stormwater, water resources, drainage, sewer, and pumping station design.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and flood mitigation strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
• 6–10 years of experience in water resources or water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NYC DEP regulations and wastewater design standards.
• Experience with EPA SWMM and green infrastructure.
• Bonus:
  Experience with Infoworks ICM.
• EIT certification with a commitment to obtaining PE within one year.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Comprehensive benefits package offered by Boomi, including 401K matching with immediate vesting and PE licensure support. Company pays for 80% of most benefits and some 100% coverage.

This is a hybrid position in New York,NY.
