Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Client Facing) – Unique
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer with excellent communication skills who enjoys collaborating on and at customer premises. In this role you will be responsible for installing and configuring Unique’s products at client sites on Kubernetes clusters, primarily Azure AKS with some on‑premise deployments. You’ll work closely with Financial Services clients to assess their infrastructure, design tailored solutions for the effective deployment of our engineering artefacts, and collaborate with our internal engineering teams to understand product specifications, deployment requirements, and to develop automated deployment processes that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities• Install and configure Unique’s products on client‑side Kubernetes clusters (Azure AKS and on‑premise).
• Assess client infrastructure and design customised deployment solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture requirements and develop automated deployment processes.
• Maintain client‑facing documentation and provide technical support during implementation.
- Strong expertise and extensive hands‑on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering; or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Must reside in New York, have a valid work permit, and be willing to travel to client sites in the USA.
- Competitive Salary – $150‑180k DOE.
