Structural Engineer

We are a growing Eastern Long Island-based firm looking for a NY Professional Structural Engineer to join our team. We would relocate you to the beautiful Hamptons on the East End of Long Island. This person has 5–10 years of experience with high‑end residential projects. This role is in a culture that values hard work, honesty, and collaboration. • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of structural residential engineering experience.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with a professional attitude and ability to work well with other professionals and contractors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, and figures.
• Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.
• OSHA 10‑hour construction training is a plus.

• Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction oversight.
• Perform civil engineering for site design, including grading and drainage design, and utility site design.
• Assist with the preparation of permitting, design, and construction documents.
• Prepare plans, technical documents, and reports.
