We’re looking for an HVAC Controls Engineer who can also manage projects. You’ll lead the installation and setup of building optimization systems in the NYC metro area. This role combines hands-on technical work with project management—making sure installations run smoothly, on time, and on budget.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage projects from start to finish, including schedules, budgets, and teams
• Lead installation and commissioning of HVAC control systems
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track
• Check that hardware and software communicate correctly
• Ensure systems work properly and meet quality standards
• Prepare final documentation and hand off projects to service teams
• Suggest improvements to make projects run more efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field
• 5–10 years of experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or MEP engineering
• Experience managing projects for commercial or multifamily buildings
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive problem solver
• Experience with Niagara Tridium is a plus
