A leading energy provider in New York seeks an Interconnections Planning Engineer to conduct interconnection studies for offshore wind and energy storage projects. This role involves performing power-flow and short-circuit analyses, contributing to system upgrades, and interfacing with NYISO. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in power system simulation programs and strong analytical and communication skills are required.
The selected candidate must also hold a valid Driver's License and be willing to respond to emergencies outside business hours.
