Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Systems Engineer for the Airborne Radar & Converged Sensors business area.

In this role, you will assist in the development and integration of advanced radar and sensor systems, contribute to the design and testing of system components, and support the analysis and evaluation of system performance. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of systems engineering principles, radar and sensor technology, and software development methodologies. Must be a US Citizen.;
This position will require a government security clearance.;
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field - Basic knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices - Familiarity with radar and sensor technology, including system design and development - Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively - Must be a US Citizen.;
This position will require a government security clearance.;
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Skills:

-Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
-Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools, such as MATLAB or Simulink
-Basic knowledge of electronic warfare and surveillance systems

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $58,552 - $77,788. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
