Tectonic Engineering

Overview

Tectonic is currently seeking a full-time Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our Latham, NY Office. This position offers the exciting opportunity for professional growth and advancement and to work closely with a diverse group of Professional Engineers!

• Collaborate on various telecommunications projects with engineers, construction teams, and designers to assist in delivering high quality results to clients.
• Design, inspect, and coordinate all phases of civil/site development, including new site builds, site layouts, site modifications, and upgrades on telecommunications and industrial facilities projects.
• Perform structural analyses on wireless telecommunications sites.
• Generate required engineering reports for review and perform site visits to gather data and conduct site inspections.
• Review drawings and calculations and perform other duties as required.
• Occasional overnight travel is required.

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering
• MS Degree in a related field and/or EIT is a plus
• 0 - 2 years of related experience
• Must be detail oriented
• Functional knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 and Microsoft Office Suite
• Requires a valid, clean driver’s license, as travel to job sites is required

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is often required to assume a stationary position and to handle, inspect, and/or work with documents, materials, and equipment. The employee may need to move around on the job site, sometimes while lifting and/or moving equipment up to 25 lbs and/or in hazardous weather conditions. The employee must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and may need to remain stationary for prolonged periods.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
