Field Engineer

Zafra Construction is a New York–based construction management and BIM consulting firm serving Queens, New York City, and projects across New York State. The firm provides construction management, BIM/VDC, project controls, and owner’s representation services for public-sector and private construction projects, including infrastructure, laboratory, transportation, and commercial developments. Zafra supports owners, agencies, designers, and contractors by providing independent advisory services focused on planning, coordination, scheduling, cost control, and risk management throughout the construction lifecycle.

We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Albany. The Field Engineer will be responsible for conducting site visits, troubleshooting technical issues, providing field service, and collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of construction projects. Day-to-day tasks will include technical support and coordination with stakeholders to meet project goals and maintain quality standards.

• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support
• Proficiency in Field Service operations and on-site problem-solving
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients
• Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and coordination
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to project needs
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
