• Work as a member of a design team on multiple projects serving clients such as NYCDEP, NYCDDC, NYC Dept. of Parks & Recreation, MTA-New York City Transit, NYCDOT, PANYNJ and NYSDOT
• Prepare plans, detail drawing/calculation checks, and estimate and quantity take-offs for projects of various sizes and complexities
• Perform engineering assignments with the highest level of professionalism and self-motivation
• Perform other duties as needed
• Position is expected to be in-person full time at the New York, NY office
• Engage in design areas including Highway & Local Roadway design, Green Infrastructure/Stormwater management, Drainage & Grading, Utility/Facility upgrades, Feasibility studies, Transit flood mitigation and resiliency, and recreation/waterfront development

This position is for July–December 2026. Length of Co‑op is flexible from 4 to 6 months.

• Previous AE internship experience is preferred
• Preference is given to local candidates
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
