Position SummaryWe are seeking an Estimator with 8+ years of experience to prepare and ensure the preparation of detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and construction. The Estimator will work closely with Project Teams and Client agency personnel to ensure the successful development of cost estimates for a variety of projects including buildings, facilities and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be not only an excellent Estimator but also an effective communicator and team player.

Key Responsibilities
- Confer with a broad range of technical, professional and managerial personnel as well as designers, consultants and contractors to coordinate and establish detailed Pérez cost estimates.
- Prepare and/or ensure the preparation of detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and/or construction.
- Supervise the development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations relating to design documents, contract drawings, specifications or contract changes.
- Use various estimating software such as RS Means to verify production rates and prices of materials and equipment and Bluebeam Revu to perform quantity takeoffs.
- Review and report on contract estimates prepared by private consultants and recommend if estimates are appropriate for Client agencies.
- Participate in cost negotiations as required.
- Perform related tasks as required.
- Visit various job sites as required in the performance of duties.
- Compliance with any applicable federal, state or local regulations, and any company policies and protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- piemēro 8 or more years of full‑time technical experience with 5 or more years of estimating in architecture, electrical, mechanical or plumbing.
- Valid driver’s license in New York State.
- Experience managing all phases of cost estimating including scope development, design at various stages, construction phase and closeout.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of construction codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance Shen standards, and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and estimating software.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching during site visits or material take‑offs.
- navigation Occasional lifting or carrying of documents, blueprints, or equipment weighing up to 20–25 lbs.
- Ability to navigate,需要 construction sites, including climbing stairs or accessing unfinished spaces, when required for estimate development.
