Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a skilled CADD Designer to join our Waterway Structures team located in New York state!

Responsibilities- Set up and detail plans by analyzing sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.
- Work from sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays and isometric drawings including digital terrain models and surfaces.
- Calculate quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates.
- Perform high level design computations, earthwork calculations and prepare complete construction plans.
- Determine and calculate stormwater drainage areas and steep slope areas.
- Prepare concept layout plans.
- Perform grading, utility, stormwater and soil erosion/sediment control design.
- Conform to the company’s standard CADD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
- Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.
- Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
- Prepare project exhibits.
- Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased.
- Associate degree is required.
- 5+ years of related waterway structure experience is required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Auto Turn and other related software is required.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $28.13 to $44.86 per hour (depending on qualifications)
