Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Armonk, NY.

• Senior Data Engineer will build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Azure Databricks
• Develop ELT/ETL workflows across Azure data services (e.g., ADLS, ADF)
• Partner with analytics and business teams to deliver operational and regulatory insights
• Ensure data quality, performance, security, and governance in a regulated environment
• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will support CI/CD, monitoring, and production troubleshooting
• Contribute to technical design and mentor junior engineers

• 7 years of data engineering experience
• Proven Azure data platform experience
• Deep experience with Databricks (jobs, clusters, Delta Lake)
• Experience in large-scale, enterprise environments
• Strong hands‑on Python & Py Spark

• Snowflake
• Energy & Utilities domain experience (grid, assets, meter data)
• Streaming data or real‑time pipelines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
