Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer
As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you will lead cross‑functional teams in designing, implementing, and modernizing complex infrastructure solutions across multiple technical disciplines.
Responsibilities- Apply deep technical expertise and problem‑solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate risk.
- Work with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes.
- Be responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements.
- Drive results and implement multiple complex programs.
- Drive thought leadership within the product line.
- Execute work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives.
- Consider upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advise on mitigation actions.
- Advise junior engineers and technologists.
- Add to team culture of diversity, equity Tahoe, inclusion, and respect.
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scalability, resilience, or performance assessments.
- Strong background and experience working with large carriers, pharma, large financials, cloud providers or a Fortune 100 company.
- Exceptional skills in networking technologies – BGP, multi‑protocol BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, MPLS‑SR, SR‑IPv6, L2/L3 QoS, packet prioritization/optimization, strong understanding of TCP/UDP, protocols and behaviors.
- Deep technical knowledge of hardware platforms (Cisco ASR class routers) and Arista.
- Understanding of workflow engines, declarative and non‑declarative models.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the capability to operate and migrate across public and private clouds.
- Knowledge of Juniper, Nokia or commodity hardware.

Compensation starts with a base salary of $156,750–$200,000 annually, with potential commission‑based pay and discretionary incentive compensation.
