Location: New York
Hirani Engineering is seeking an experienced Soils Special Inspector to support upcoming field inspections in New Jersey. This position is a full-time project assignment (minimum six months) and requires an inspector who is currently credentialed and can be onboarded within an accelerated timeframe.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform soils special inspections in accordance with applicable codes, project specifications, and approved inspection procedures
- Maintain accurate, defensible field documentation (daily reports, observations, nonconformance documentation as applicable)
- Coordinate in real time with project management and site supervision to support schedule, access, and inspection readiness
- Communicate field conditions, findings, and required corrective actions professionally and promptly
- Adhere to safety requirements and Hirani quality standards at all times
