Maxwell Bond is partnering with an innovative robotics company building next‑generation humanoid systems. They’re looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to help take a humanoid robot from prototype to an industrial‑ready product.

This is a high‑ownership role ideal for someone with strong mechanical fundamentals who wants to grow into owning larger subsystems over time.

• Designing brackets, mounts, and assemblies for humanoid subsystems (grippers, upper body, joints)
• Supporting hardware integration, build, service, and rework
• Designing and building test rigs, jigs, fixtures, and accelerated life‑test equipment
• Rapid prototyping using 3D printing and basic machining
• Supporting bring‑up, debugging, and field failure resolution
• Contributing to industrial hardening (guards, enclosures, cable routing, service access)
• Maintaining CAD, drawings, BOMs, and test documentation
• Collaborating daily with mechanical, electrical, firmware engineers, and technicians

• 4–7 years’ mechanical engineering or product development experience
• Strong CAD skills (Solid Works or Onshape)
• Practical, hands‑on experience building and testing hardware
• Comfortable working in lab/shop environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Robotics, automation, or industrial equipment experience
• Exposure to DFM/DFA and vendor/manufacturing interaction
• Basic FEA or strength calculations
• Experience with environmental or life‑cycle testing

• Tight feedback loops and rapid prototyping

• Work that goes from CAD to test to real deployed systems
