We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to join a dynamic team as a Project Scheduling Specialist
. In this pivotal temporary role, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of complex project timelines, directly contributing to the effective execution and delivery of vital initiatives. Your expertise will ensure that critical projects stay on track, empowering our client to achieve their ambitious goals and maintain their commitment to excellence.
- Develop and meticulously maintain comprehensive project schedules.
- Establish and manage project baselines to monitor performance effectively.
- Regularly update project progress, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and key stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines.
- Perform in-depth schedule analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Generate comprehensive reports, including look-ahead schedules, resource forecasts, and variance analysis, to inform decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational scheduling standards and documentation requirements, promoting consistency and compliance across all projects.
- 3-5+ years of experience in project scheduling, specifically for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or capital projects.
- Familiarity with outage planning and coordination.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
