3D Printing Manufacturing Engineering Process Improvement Contract Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical

As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the research and development of manufacturing processes for all Formlabs products, working cross-functionally with mechanical design, electrical, and materials teams.

Responsibilities:

• Improve existing manufacturing lines to support increasing production volumes.
• Establish in-line or intermediate checks to identify failures early in the process.
• Design and analyze production lines, establish process metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to enhance their output and the quality of custom parts.
• Communicate effectively with design engineers to ensure seamless adoption of design changes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers or suppliers.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing electro-mechanical products or projects to market on time and within budget.
• Experience evaluating production line performance metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.).
