We are looking for an EHS Representative for a major NYC DEP wastewater treatment infrastructure project in New York, NY, involving complex construction and environmental compliance work.

• The EHS Professional and EHS Rep shall have extensive experience with hazard identification, evaluation and controls, and be knowledgeable of all applicable EHS requirements set forth by governing laws, rules and regulations as well as Best Management Practices. Where gaps in the training or experience are identified, DEP may require additional experience or training for approval.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience exclusively in construction EHS management
• Successful completion of the following training courses:
  • BEDC EHS Standards
  • OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety and Health Training
  • 40‑Hour HAZWOPER Training (required for projects involving hazardous waste remediation or emergency response)
  • RCRA/DOT Hazardous Waste and Manifesting Training
  • Permit‑Required Confined Space Training
  • BEDC Spill Prevention and Control Training
  • Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) Training

Estimated salary for this position is $50–55/hour. Salary commensurate with experience and local cost of living.
