Systems Engineer
Location: NY/NJ and can interview in person.
Duration: 6+ months
Interview: Phone screening followed by a Face to Face interview.
General Summary:The position is responsible for the engineering, delivery, and Tier 2/3 support of all aspects of IT Network Services for the business in the NYC region. This includes, but is not limited to Local Area, Wide Area, and Wireless for both Corporate and Retail locations. This role will liaise with the US Network and Operations teams to ensure regional delivery of network services against global standards and ensure they are delivered to the business against agreed service levels.
This role will be both engineering and operational to ensure both the tactical development and deployment of network services and operational efficiency of delivering the services to the business. This role will be primarily accountable for the build and operational competency of the retail store network architecture in the region.
Job Complexity:
Education desired: College (4 year) BS degree with Computer Science or Engineering major.
Years of relevant experience: 5 years.
