About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer
- Mechanical to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects, driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence across our organization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers
- Develop and implement mechanical engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components
- Oversee project planning, execution, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
- Conduct design reviews and validate engineering solutions
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in mechanical engineering processes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Master's degree preferred - Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and best practices
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works and AutoCAD
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS and FEA
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven track record in product development and design optimization
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and manufacturing processes
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and develop team members
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience working in a global, multicultural environment is advantageous
