THE WORK
This hybrid role will be responsible for the AMC Combat Rescue Helicopter Mission systems array as well as other peripheral programs. The selected candidate will also lead those who manage the implementation and execution of program quality requirements for the Airborne Mission Systems (AMS) submarket segment of Mission Systems and Weapons (MSW). Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support.

Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards;

nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm. WHO YOU ARE

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field), equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.), or equivalent experience/combined education

• Previous leadership experience in a related discipline (e.g. Quality Engineering, System Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Integration & Test)

• Advanced Q-Note or anomaly documentation processing knowledge

• Excellent communication skills to include ability to develop and present plans, reports and briefings for both written and oral presentations with executive management

• Experienced with Material Review Board (MRB)
• Working knowledge of electronic systems that effect and support QA systems (e.g. SAP/ERP)

• Knowledge of Quality systems/processes and knowledge of external quality standards such as ISO
9001 and/or AS9100

• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc

• Travel, though infrequent may be required for this position in order to support program objectives

• Occasional support for off-shifts or weekends may be required for this position in order to support organization objectives

• Must be able to obtain Secret Security clearance and US Citizenship is required
