• Work closely with R&D engineers to develop test routines for next‑generation silicon photonics optical transceivers
• Contribute to creating custom hardware and software, learn how to automate test routines
• Design and carry out experiments, analyze the data, and draw conclusions from the results
• Gain valuable skills, knowledge, and experience in a high‑growth field

• Ability to read and interpret data
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Desire to learn new skills, and to push yourself to achieve goals

• Taken college‑level courses in electrodynamics, optics, and statistics
• A working knowledge of one or more computer programming language
• Experience working with CAD software
• Familiarity with software version control systems such as Git

Currently a candidate for a Ph.D., Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with an accredited school in the United States.
