STV is currently looking for a Project Officer to join our Construction Management group in New York City
.
The Project Officer will report directly to a Senior Project Officer and support school construction projects. This role involves technical and administrative tasks to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely progress of construction activities.
Responsibilities- Review documents submitted for required City building permits for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and support to permit applicants navigating the filing process with City agencies.
- Deliver and manage project documents with various agencies for data entry, review, and approval.
- Collaborate with Plan Examiners to review documents for compliance with City Building Codes.
- Research existing building status and records at various City agencies.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned to support project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field and at least 5 years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
