Position Overview:

An intermediate technical role responsible for managing complex trade‑specific estimates and schedules while delivering high‑quality deliverables. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of construction costs, schedules, market conditions, and estimation methodologies and works independently on significant project components.

• 3‑6 years of related experience in project controls, cost estimating, or construction management.
• BA/BS degree in a quantitative, analytical, engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Scheduling & Technical Skills
  • Develop and maintain complex project schedules, perform critical path analysis.
  • Recommend schedule optimization strategies and resource leveling techniques.
  • Conduct trend forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Risk & Performance Management
  • Identify and quantify project risks, develop detailed mitigation plans.
  • Track risk exposure throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, recommend performance improvement strategies.
• Leadership & Collaboration
  • Develop comprehensive project reports synthesizing schedule, cost, and risk data.
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines to resolve project control issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in project controls software and train junior team members.
• Cost/Estimating Technical Leadership
  • Demonstrate full understanding of components for conceptual estimates for specific trades.
  • Manage owner/client budget expectations and review estimates with design teams.
  • Analyze building system costs for specific trades throughout design stages.
• Documentation & Quality Control
  • Write clear, concise qualifications and clarifications.
  • Assemble estimate deliverable packages and ensure stable estimates through all design stages.
  • Maintain consistent quality standards.
• Project Management
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understand key terms of client agreements.
  • Show expertise across various project types and sizes.
