Project Engineer – Fasteners (Hybrid)

Brewster, NY, United States (hybrid – three days onsite per week)
Join Stanley Black & Decker’s Tools and Outdoor team to build reliable fastener solutions that protect people, property, and the environment. You’ll collaborate with engineering, sourcing, marketing, and quality to deliver on product cost, investment, and performance goals.
The Job- Coordinate readiness of all functions throughout the product development process.
- Build project schedules, identify task sequences, durations, and resources; monitor progress; manage changes to the schedule baseline to achieve the plan.
- Work with PE, Sourcing, and Marketing to build product cost, investment plan, and financial performance; monitor and control cost over the life of the project.
- Ensure projects meet product quality standards; monitor those standards throughout the project and product lifecycle, looking for continuous improvements.
- Identify, monitor, and control commercial, technical, or operational risk over the project life cycle; assess impact of identified risks and prioritize them.
- Collaborate with teams to find solutions to address risk; accelerate assessment decisions to continue, redirect, or stop programs.
- Develop plans to close issues and minimize impact on cost, schedule, and quality when risks become realized problems.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings; report project status to PMR/PMR meetings and top management.
- Manage documentation storage throughout the project lifecycle to meet ISO Quality Management System requirements.
- Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by PMO Lead.

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, structural, or industrial engineering.
- 3+ years of engineering and project management experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional knowledge in project planning and management/supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with project management software.
- Experience in the anchor industry is preferred.
