Location: Town of Florida

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Hydraulic Modeler for our Hollywood, Florida office. The candidate will participate on project teams for innovative water distribution system and wastewater collection and conveyance system planning and design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and processing large amounts of complex data
  • Developing, using and documenting hydrologic/hydraulic models for planning and design
  • Perform fieldwork and site visits from design through construction (may be required)
  • Occasional local and regional travel may be required
Required Qualifications:
  • 3‑6 years of experience
  • Experience with ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with hydraulic evaluations for water and wastewater utilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, biosystems, chemical, mechanical, or biological & agricultural engineering from an ABET‑accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Info Water, Water

    CAD, Info Works ICM or PCSWMM preferred
