Junior FPGA Engineer PRJ

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a comparable field
• Basic understanding of digital design concepts
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming techniques
• A basic level of knowledge in VHDL (preferred) / Verilog
• Familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Eagerness to learn FPGA design and verification methodologies.
• A structured, independent and responsible approach to work and a high level of quality awareness
• Familiarity with the use of version control software
• Ability to see how your work fits into a larger project and product and readiness to work with colleagues to achieve its integration
• High level of written English and at least basic fluency in spoken English
• Ideally basic written and verbal ability in German

• Assist in FPGA design, development, and testing under supervision.
• Perform basic design entry, simulation, and debugging tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to verify FPGA modules and document processes.
• Learn and implement FPGA design best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Detailed documentation of FPGA development cycles according to ECSS-Q-ST-60 standard
