The Industrial Robotics & Automation (IRaA) subdivision within the Soft Serve Robotics Group specializes in developing and integrating advanced robotic systems for various industrial applications. IRaA’s mission is to innovate solutions for complex automation challenges, focusing on areas such as robotic arms, end‑effectors, and humanoid robots to enhance precision, productivity, and efficiency in industry.
Qualifications- A holder of at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical skills, a solid mathematical background, and deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Proficient in motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics, and control
- Experienced with sensors, actuators, control systems, and systems integration, with a track record in industrial applications
- Skilled in C++, Python, and Linux
- Experienced with ROS, MoveIt2, and Gazebo
- Accustomed to software engineering tools such as Git, CMake, Make, GDB, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Isaac Sim (would be a plus)
- Design and develop solutions for industrial robotics, including robotic arms, humanoid robots, and legged robots
- Conduct regular research on the latest trends and advancements in industrial robotics
