Responsibilities
- Lead or co‑lead various Improvement Events – Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Analysis, 5S, Standard Work, Flow Cells and DMAIC projects resulting in measurable business improvements.
- Execute and support diverse data analysis processes throughout the manufacturing units.
- Assist with the cascade of targets in the process and align Key Process Indicators for the operators.
- Partner with Process Owners, Project Sponsors, and other CI resources to drive results.
- Coach and support line management in continuous improvement activities.
- Deliver training on key tools and improvement methodologies as needed.
- Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Engage in change management initiatives and support the plant by effectively communicating change.
- Define the scope and financial justification of improvement opportunities.
- Become an expert in the use of Lean and Six Sigma tools, WCM principles, TPM principles; ensure that the tools are used appropriately by team members.
- Monitor and report on overall progress to the CI Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years in continuous improvement.
- High degree of understanding of WCM management system.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training.
- Proven ability to successfully implement improvement within an established time frame, then sustain improvements.
- High energy, data driven, and results oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills and organization skills; must be comfortable teaching and presenting to large groups at all levels of the organization from shop floor to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in technical or business.
- Experience in a similar business, preferably the metal industry.
- 2+ years’ experience facilitating, coaching, implementing TPM, Lean, WCM.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

For this role, the annual salary starts at $96,000. Individual pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, and performance.
